Context
I joined the Cube team in February and immediately jumped into product development. One of the most interesting features I worked on was Semantic Layer Sync.

Problem
It was very important for us that as many people as possible use the synchronization function, which would allow us to tie them to our system. But user didn't see this function and didn't know that it exists in the system. Thus, the percentage of users who connected their BI Tool was only 8%.
Solution
I brought the Semantic Layer Sync function to the first screen of the dashboard where the user managed their Deployments. Thus, all new users immediately began to see the opportunity to create Semantic Layer Sync. For users already familiar with the product, I put this function in a separate tab in the side menu, so the user could immediately see that such a function exists in the system. On the page itself, I implemented a call to action.
Conclusion
As result in two weeks near a past of our clients set up a Sync with their BI tool if they had it.
